Our trip to Idaho Falls

 The kids were so excited to ride the four wheelers. Emy, Micah and Cassie all go to drive them on their own. Hannah was still just a bit too small so she got rides on the bigger four wheeler with an adult. This was so much fun and they rode for hours!!

 Hannah was waiting her turn on the bike that was not working.. and playing with a helmet. 

 While we were there we went to the Crook family reunion. (Trent's moms family.) It had a super hero theme. we had sooo much fun going and the kids are already talking about next year, I guess we will have to make sure we can go again. :) Cassie borrow a left over costume and was super man.. she is posing for the contest in the above photo.. so cute!

 Super hero training started the next day... Here trent is leap frogging and below they are playing twister.. luckily he never fell and Emy did not get squished!

 After super hero training the kids and some adults cooled off in the water... Which was needed cause it got hot for us. (we were use to 70 degree temps not 90)

 This was one of the coolest things at the reunion.. a blow up obstacle course.. all I can say is the Crooks know how to have fun!!

We had a fabulous vacation!! We got to see so many people. Maybe one day I will be able to name every Crook.. but I think I made a good attempt. Now to do all the laundry and get my house put back together again! :)

Micah is 12.. holy crap! It feels like I just brought him home from the hospital. Micah starts middle school next year. Micah loves school, football and video games. Thoughtful, caring, fun, lovable, responsible, compassionate, a leader, playful.. a few words that come to mind when I think of Micah. I often tell him he is my favorite son.. he loves that, and replies, "i'm your only son."

Hannah has grown so much!! you can say she has gained 35 times her birth weight :) Tenacious, fun, silly, active, kind, friend to everyone, social, loving Hannah. She came out with fight and has never slowed down. Our Preemie, little miracle. She completes out family. they say some of the best things come in small packages... Hannah just confirms that!! I can't believe she starts kindergarten in the fall. HAPPY 5TH BIRTHDAY HANNAH!!

Happy Easter Everyone! This month just started and it feels like it is almost over. I am in the last 4 weeks of my semester and will so much left to do I guess I wish I had more time. The great part with it all is that I am done with classes on 4 weeks.. I have never looked forward to my summer so much! 

I am not sure if I have posted or not but I have been accepted to the Master's program at the University of Idaho and with that also got offered 1 of 2 paid TA positions in the Family Consumer Science program. I am excited to finally get paid for my knowledge. I will be working with undergraduate students and parents and children at the Child Development labs. It is a great opportunity. 

With all this it dawned on me that two things are coming.. I will have my Bachelors degree and Hannah starts Kindergarten in the fall. HUGE realization. 

Well that is it for now. can't find our camera but here is a pic of the two younger girls at an Easter egg hunt last week.

That was the extent of our Christmas break... we just relaxed and enjoyed it. 

It feels like we just hit January and now we are almost done with February... Time is flying so fast. We are so busy in this house who can keep track I guess.

Micah went on his first winter snow over night trip with the scouts and I was so nervous that he would freeze I convinced Trent to go with him. They had fun and I was told they were plenty warm. We got snow while they were out but they did not see any of that snow where they were.. very nice. Micah's team did well in the Klondike..the instructor said they had the best fire of the day. Trent was a little sore the next day but was glad he could go with Micah.

Cassie wanted something to do that "would let her move" so we enrolled her in gymnastics once a week. she enjoys getting to work on the trampoline and balance beams the most. I will try to catch a picture or two and post them soon.

It has been a rather mild winter here this year. we had some good snow fall for a few days that closed the towns (even the University) from all that snow came the ice. I was not paying attention and slipped causing some damage to my right arm (I'm left handed) I am still in a sling but am looking forward to starting Physical Therapy.. I can't wait to stop wearing the sling. It certainly made for a rough start to my busy semester. My teacher's have been really great and I was able to get a program that I talk to and it types my papers (since I can not use my arm/hand). The kids and Trent have been so wonderful about helping me around the house. Hopefully the nerves heal and we can strengthen the muscles quickly.
