FUN IN THE RAIN!!!

What else do you do when it is pouring rain and warm outside??? Hannah had so much fun she did not want to come in!!!

The end is near...

I am so excited for my semester to end this term. It has been great but I look forward to the summer with the children. Going camping and taking short vacations. For the first time ever Trent has a bunch of vacation time. We have been sick at the house but it has been nothing I was not able to do at our home, it has been nice to be able to care for Hannah at home when she has gotten sick.
I have four weeks after I am done with school before the Micah and Emy are done with school so that should give me just enough time to get my house in order again and maybe do some sewing for the summer.
We were very fortunate to be able to purchase a used tent trailer and look forward to many camping trips this summer. we probably will not travel far but if you know of any good spots for camping within a day, let us know. who knows maybe we will just show up on your steps :) :)

Emeline's Baptism

The weekend was a busy one but it was for a great occasion. Emeline's baptism was beautiful. It was wonderful to see all our friends and family that could come and support Emeline in her decision to be baptised. All the excitement proved to be much for Emeline, she stayed home from school today because she was still very tired today :) I have three more years before we do another baptism here.. I may recover by then :)

I am so grateful for this wonderful gospel we are a part of. I am very excited every time someone else see what the Gospel can bring to their life and makes the commitment to become a member and receive those blessings. The baptism was wrapped up with the song, "I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ.." Many of the adults did not know the words to the song, but the children that were there sang it with so much excitement that it brought a few tears. "I know who I am, I know Gods plan, I'll follow him in faith." I am very grateful to belong to this wonderful Church and know God's plan.

FYI

Just a quick note to anyone that has not talked to me about coming to Emy's baptism, I need to know by Monday so that we can plan the dinner after the baptism. Also I have been informed by one of my friends that all the hotels in Moscow and Pullman are full. you may need to look into staying in Lewiston/Clarkston or Colfax. They are both about 35 minutes from our home.
We look forward to seeing all that can come... Emeline is very excited. this last week Trent and Dave have been giving Emeline and Maren the discussions for their upcoming baptism. Our local Elders have been great, they come and sit in on them :) It has been a great experience for the girls and their dads. (Dave is one of our close friends here and Maren is the friend that Emy is getting baptised with on the 24th.) :)

Hannah's new favorite thing...

Yes... That is Hannah sleeping while playing with Play dough. notice she is still holding the cutting toy :)

Hannah has discovered play dough the last week and can not get enough of it.. The hardest problems has been to keep it out of my clothing and furniture and at the table where it belongs!

I was sick this past week, Trent stayed home and took care of the children... he was doing some work at the computer and came back to little Hannah taking a nap with her play dough.. too cute!

Emy's 8th Birthday

Emeline wanted to celebrate her 8th birthday this year with a small slumber party with two friends. They had a great time!

Clearance at wal-mart... I love it! no where else would I have found three little girls pj kits for so little cost!! They loved that they were matching!

No cake, Emeline wanted ice cream Sundays and cookies... can you say sugar high?

I had to take a picture.. they crashed around 11 that night... they were all very tired I think.
Emeline is anxiously awaiting her baptism April 24th.
